Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are over. What a wonderful time with family and friends giving thanks to God for everything; celebrating Jesus mercy; and looking to a new year! It's all quite exciting and consuming, but now I find myself in the cold, dreary January with Spring oh so far away (at least here in Pittsburgh). However, I am hoping January will continue to bring excitement as we head towards the Super Bowl!! Definitely brings the Spring a little faster and makes January more worthwhile - even if it makes work more hectic. Just hope we don't have the kind of letdown TN brought… Anyway, here's a few pictures from my Christmas celebrations. Mason stole the show as always :) I feel so lucky that I get to be here with Mason - and I can't wait for Carson to join us! Being an aunt is just so much fun. Enjoy the snow and the cold, if that's possible!

Well, it's Fall and so far I'm not much better at keeping you up to date! I am enjoying Fall, but it is definitely flying by. I am not ready for cold! I just hope we have a huge snowfall this year because it is the only consolation to the cold.
Well, since my last post, I have been to TN - Nashville, Jackson, and Memphis! Nellene and I met there along with a few others. It was hard to believe it had been almost a year since I had seen Nellene or anyone else - it didn't seem like any time had passed. It was so great to see so many people from college and to see the college. It's amazing all that they've done. Although, I have to say I'm pretty jealous of the new dorms at Union! I thought I had it good there - not compared to the new dorms! Every room is bigger in the apartment and there is 2 bathrooms instead of 1 and a washer and dryer! It's crazy... I'll be putting some photos up on facebook of the campus soon (ish - you know me). I also got to see Bethany in Nashville which was awesome because it had been way too long! We always have a good time no matter what we are doing, but once again we didn't take any pictures!! We have a really bad habit of that...
October has been full of Fall and Halloween activities! We carved pumpkins at our house last week with Jenny and Amie - a great way to kick off Fall! :)

Despite our best efforts, we didn't have any trick-or-treaters though! How sad... But we had some Halloween fun at 2 parties. One was Crystal's friend from work's party last weekend. The other was last night at the Clubhouse on Mt. Washington. My friend, his wife, and 2 of their friends threw the party. So, it was huge - about 300 people. It was a fun time! This party has been going on for almost 10 years now and always has a costume contest that has become a pretty big deal with a Golden Pumpkin trophy for the winner. So, there were some pretty awesome costumes - my favorites included pacman complete with ghosts attached to his back "chasing him," Bob Barker with a Price is Right contestant, the Cookie Monster, and the Geico Cavemen. They all received honorable mentions for the contest. But, crazy enough, the winners were lawn ornaments - a gnome, jockey, and flamingo... and the best part is it was US!
Notice the grass on our feet and the trophy sitting behind us before we knew it'd be ours!
Then, WINNERS!
Well, that's the update for now! Crystal, Jess and I are going to NYC this week - so that will be more excitement. We are going for a long weekend and leave Thursday night!
Happy Fall!

I know I have an entire summer to make up for on here! But for now I'll just tell you the most recent news. I completed a half marathon this past Saturday!!! I ran the entire thing... no walking - 13.1 miles!! My summer long of training (and not keeping you updated) paid off on Saturday!! I may not have been able to walk for a few days after because of the pain in my knees, but it was all worth it! :) In case you didn't figure it out - The first picture is of me as I was crossing the finish. The other is with Crystal (who ran the 5K that day - way to go Crys!) and Nancy. Nancy is Crystal's coworker who got us into the race and ran the half marathon too! We sure do look great even after doing all that running!!!

So, it's been forever, but things have been absolutely crazy! This has been one of the busiest months of my entire life and it's not quite over. So, really quickly...
I had 3 weddings in a row this month! I coordinated the first wedding on June 7. I played all of the music for the second wedding on June 14 (which was 3 hours away). Then I only attended the third wedding on June 21 that was also 3 hours away. However, I also moved that weekend! Saturday was lost to the wedding so friday and sunday were moving. I'm all in my new place but haven't gotten entirely unpacked, but I'm getting there. Then this past Saturday the 28th (I guess that was just yesterday!) was Mason's 1st Birthday party! (his actual birthday was the 23rd). So, I have been rather crazy with all of this. Luckily, although this makes this week a little busier, I leave for the beach thursday after work!! I can DEFINITELY use a vacation after all of this! So now I just have to finish unpacking and then pack for the beach this week!! So, don't expect to hear from me until after the beach!
Details and pictures to come for all of these events!! Happy Summer!!

Most of you probably know that I am living with Greg, Devon, and Mason right now. They did a lot of work in the upstairs and it looks like a completely new place! That's where I've been living for a few months now. It's so nice and it's been really great to live with them - maybe they don't think so, but I do! ;)
However, I am also really excited to be moving in June to a house with Crystal and Jess! It's less than 10 minutes down the road from Greg and Devon's too so that will be really nice. It's also a great house and we are all super excited to be roomies! We have awesome plans for the house and for living together! This weekend we got some paint and will be painting in 2 weeks. We are most excited to get to decorate though! Sorry I don't have a picture of the house, but I will!
Here's one good story from this week... On thursday the boss of the marketing department decided to take us out to Palomino's for lunch, which is just across the street. While we were walking there, all of the sudden I completely fell flat on my front on the concrete! I have no idea what I tripped over - I just know that one second I was walking and the next I was on the ground - purse flying and everything! It was a very theatrical fall. I don't think anyone will ever be forgetting that one at work! I am a little sore and bruised up from it, and I was worried about my arm (which is sore) but I think I'm gonna be all ok! So, it was mostly hilarious!
